This dataset was collected as part of an Australian Department of Agriculture Filling the Research Gap National Soil Carbon Project - Project 53: Native perennial vegetation: building stable soil carb... moreon and farm resilience.
Twelve pairs of rotationally and continuously grazed paddocks containing native grasses were samples down to 50 cm in four increments (0-10, 10-20, 20-30 and 30-50 cm). When available, an ungrazed remnant native vegetation site was also sampled for comparison. At each site, six samples were collected, each consisting of a composite of four cores.
