18S rDNA pyrosequenced data from Triclosan Spiked Experiment
Roche 454 FLX Titanium produced 18S rDNA amplicons derived from an experiment which examined the vertical migration of benthic biota through triclosan contaminated surficial sediments.
The primers used were 18S SSU_F04 (5’-GCTTGTCTCAAAGATTAAGCC-3’) and 18S SSU_R22 (5’-GCCTGCTGCCTTCCTTGGA-3’)
The study contained four tr... moreeatments The treatments were: 1) Field Control with no sediment added; 2) Triclosan Control with reference sediment added from Long Island Sound (LIS); 3) Low Triclosan (30 mg triclosan/kg dry LIS sediment); and 4) High Triclosan (300 mg triclosan/kg dry LIS sediment ).
