Wood-Inhabiting Fungi Collection


An extensive collection, maintained since 1930 that contains over 2000 living and uncharacterized strains of fungi isolated from fallen wood at various sites across Australia. Each isolate is stored as a "dormant" culture on a malt extract slope that is overlayed with paraffin oil.
