During 1970, Carnaby's Black Cockatoos, C. latirostris were shot in Western Australian pine plantations at Gnangara and Somerville (now the Perth suburbs of Murdoch, Winthrop and Booragoon) and in pine plantations and native forest to the east of Mundaring and Sawyers Valley. Identification of individual Carnaby’s Cockatoos Calyptorhynchus latirostris from natural variation in markings

The data was transcribed from the original specimen sheets that were annotated in 1970. A completed specimen sheet has been scanned and included in the supplemental files as a reference. This data was recorded by the Division of Wildlife Research. This Division was incorporated into CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems which was then merged into CSIRO Ecosystem Sciences and is now part of CSIRO Land and Water.
