Parkes observations for project P1063 semester 2020APRS_13
We propose to use the Parkes UWL receiver for monitoring a small sub-set of the FAST-discovered pulsars, with special properties. The Parkes UWL system provides a unique capability for studying the pulsars over wide bandwidths. The observation proposed will provide significant insight into the special emission properties of these new discoveries an... mored facilitate science. less

P1063 - Long term monitoring of FAST discoveries
The FAST telescope has already been phenomenally successful in finding pulsars. More than 100 discoveries have been confirmed, including new millisecond pulsars, binary systems, and sources that exhibit unusual emission properties. T Long term monitoring of this small subset of FAST-discovered pulsars will be essential for extracting the necessary ... morescience values from these new, special targets. The unique wide-band, polarization measurements can further refine properties related to pulse signals, such as the pulse rotation measures, dispersion measures and profile evolution. less
