Quantitative trait and genotype data used to investigate climate adaptation in Eucalyptus microcarpa. Trait data includes individual tree size and leaf trait measurements for all trees measured in the provenance trial. SNP data contains individual genotype data for all genotyped trees. tree quantitative trait provenance trial eucalyptus SNP DBH growth leaf


Trait data were measured from a single, established provenance trial of Eucalyptus microcarpa. SNP data were generated using DArTmp for a subset of trees from this trial. More details available in: Jordan R, Prober SM, Hoffmann AA and Dillon SK. 2020. Combined analyses of phenotype, genotype and climate implicate local adaptation as a driver of diversity in Eucalyptus microcarpa. In press.


Data collection and generation funded by CSIRO Julius Award (SP), Science and Industry Endowment Fund (AH), Australian Department of Environment and Energy (SP), Holsworth Wildlife Research Endowment (RJ), Eucalypt Australia (all), Australian Flora Foundation (all). Rebecca Jordan was supported by an Australian Postgraduate Award. The provenance trial was established previously by Richard Mazanec (at the time, Department of Conservation and Land Management, Western Australia). Department of Water (Western Australia) gave permission to access the trial site to measurements and data collection.
