A cannon EOS-6D Digital SLR camera was attached to the tow point of an R-44 Helicopter using a CASA approved mount. Flying at approximately 600 ft and 50 knots, the camera was controlled using external hardware to take bursts of approximately 3 photographs per second when over the area of interest. A gps track was recorded using 1 point per second and this was used to geo-tag the photographs.
